Adult Policies and Procedures

o Headshots must be scheduled within 4 months of being requested.

o When scheduling headshots, please reach out to The Happen Agency to brainstorm looks needed.

o Photos must be taken with a Professional Photographer. If you need recommendations, Kelci will be more than happy to provide a list of experienced photographers who do great work with our talent.

o It is highly recommended that you sign up for a hair/makeup person. You want to make sure you are achieving the looks requested.

o Once the headshot session is completed, please send a link to the full photoshoot. 

o The Happen Agency will pick their top shots. Once selected, please have them edited and added to the specified casting sites. 

o Please email when the headshots chosen by The Happen Agency are up on the specified sites.

o Do not show up to an audition, callback, or booking intoxicated.

o Do not show up to an in-person audition, callback, or booking sick or ill.

• If you are sick or ill, please inform The Happen Agency, and we will reach out to Casting on your behalf to find out their preferred workaround.

o To the best of your abilities, we expect you to match your headshot submitted. If you need to know which headshot was submitted, reach out to The Happen Agency via email and we’ll send you which picture was submitted.

• If you are unable to match the headshot at the time of the audition, please inform casting whether or not you will be able to adjust your look by the time of the shoot (ex: You have a beard right now for a shoot, but you’ll be able to shave before this audition’s shoot dates.)
• Please make sure you match the theme of the character as much as possible. (ex: Don’t wear a 3 piece suit to an audition for a hippie, or a tank top and shorts for a high powered attorney.)

o It’s a good idea to keep spare audition clothes in your vehicle if at all possible, in case of a same-day audition.

o Please make sure you have reliable transportation to auditions, and plan for traffic.

o We recommend arriving no more than 15 minutes before your scheduled audition time for in-person auditions.

• If you are running late to an audition, please reach out to us with an ETA, so we can inform casting of when to expect you. 

o Please update your resume with every new credit, and send The Happen Agency a digital copy of the updated resume.

o Please update all Casting sites (ex: Actors Access, Casting Networks, Casting Frontier, Casting Workbook, etc.) with new credits, updated skills, and / or any changes to skills every 3 months, or as they occur (whichever happens first!)

• Put a reminder on your calendar to at least check the sites quarterly, to make sure all of your information is up to date.

o Please make sure your Casting sites are filled out to completion!

• For Actors Access, any skill you click off, you are assumed to be an expert. If you don’t feel as though you are an expert, don’t click it off on Actors Access, or make a note at your skill level.
• Casting Networks and Casting Frontier both have an option to put skill level. Be sure to be honest when choosing Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert.
• Casting Networks has a section called “Other Experience”. This will be your best friend in getting skill based auditions. For every skill you check off on Casting Networks, you can expand on the specifics of your skills. You can also use this section to list any skills you have that are not in the clickable search, cool facts about you, favorite sports teams, favorite games, etc. Basic examples are listed below, and if you want detailed examples, please reach out to The Happen Agency. 
• Example 1: You clicked off Baseball on searchable skills. Here you would expand on what position(s) you can play, how many years of experience you have, and what gear (if any) you own.
• Example 2: You are an experienced D&D player. You have a current campaign, and have experience with specific editions.
• Example 3: You are a big USC Trojan Football fan! You are a season ticket holder, and a big Football fan in general! Some of your favorite teams include the NFL Miami Dolphins, and the Dallas Cowboys.

o We expect you to be able to do everything you say you can on your Casting sites. If your skills change, please update the sites immediately. 

• If it’s a temporary change, such as an injury temporarily preventing you from performing said skills, please reach out to The Happen Agency. We’ll add a note to our internal system. 

o On Actors Access, you are expected to have at least 2 headshots approved by The Happen Agency, a reel, and a slate shot attached to at least one of your photos. 

o On Casting Networks, you are expected to have at least 2 photos approved by The Happen Agency.

o On Casting Frontier, you are expected to have 1 photo approved by The Happen Agency.
